I'm sat here just staring at the screen really not knowing what to write about first... The absolutely beautiful bouquet and headpiece that I really wanted to have for myself, how utterly stunning a bride Jade makes, Ross's parents garden that was transformed into an absolute dream, the incredible amount of intricate details Jade and her family had made, the perfect first dance, or the fact that this wedding was organised in just 8 very short weeks.
Yes that's right; 8.
Jade and her family are very artist, so I knew there would be a lot of personal touches, but oh my goodness, just look at all of those details. I was in heaven! And I didn't want to leave! Not only that; after the church ceremony (complete with coolest priest I've ever met - when I first saw him he gave me a high 5) everyone walked to Ross's parents house and enjoyed canapés, drinks and a gorgeous hog roast in the most beautiful surroundings. It really will take me far too long to describe how amazing this was, I think I stood there mouthing 'wow, ooh, ahh" for the first half an hour, so I will let the images do the talking instead.
Now can we just take a moment to focus on the cake... not only was it decorated so stunningly, by Ross's wonderful aunty, it had it's very own summer house! This, if possible, made the cake look even more like a masterpiece - a serious work of art!
The reception was held at the Barbour Institute in Tattenhall village, what an absolute treat that was. Just gorgeous. And if the garden wasn't breathtaking enough, this venue was decorated just as fabulously. (I'm running out of words to describe the wowness!) Everything on the tables were either made or found around Jade and her mum's home, there were fairy lights hanging from everywhere possible and there was cheese. A whole table full of cheese, and a cake made of cheese which even had little mice on. I could have died I was so happy to walk into that room.
They danced their first dance to Hooked on a Feeling and any wedding that kicks off the evening with a song that begins with "ooga-chaka ooga-ooga ooga-chaka ooga-ooga ooga-chaka" is a winner in my book.
I could say a million more things but I'm going to stop and let you enjoy the images, take a stroll through their beautiful day...
Jade and Ross, thank you so so much for letting me be a part of your wonderful day. I hope you love these images as much as I enjoyed taking them, I wish we could do it every weekend.
Lots of love xxx
