When I woke up on the morning of Jess and Nick's wedding and looked outside I kid you not, it was proper White Walker weather (unfortunately, there was no Jon Snow in sight. Apologies to non GoT fans) Luckily as time went on, the weather cleared, the sun came out and you could now see your hand in front of your face - more importantly, it meant that they could still get married outside!
I've known Nick for a few years now and had always heard about the gorgeous Jess...and also how he was never ever going to propose. Nope, he definitely wasn't. And no amount of teasing and heckling was ever going to change that. So to say I was completely over the moon when I heard he'd FINALLY popped the question, and in an extremely romantic way to boot, is a bit of an understatement. And then they both took me out for pancakes and asked me to be their photographer, how could I say no?
They were married at the Grosvenor Pulford and it was such a gorgeous day. I had so much fun spending the morning with Jess, her mum and bridesmaids while they got ready and also meeting the beautiful Victoria Jane who provided her make up genius for the day (go check her out, she's amazing <3 ) Nick was so emotional as he spotted Jess walking towards him and there were a few giggles as Jess had a bit of trouble getting Nick's ring on his finger! In the evening we were treated to an amazing traditional Welsh sing song from Jess's family and I also caught her dad jamming out on the drums while the band were setting up haha.
Jess and Nick, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day, I loved every minute.
