A Scorching Summer Wedding at Chester Racecourse: Becky & Reiss’s beautifully relaxed day

On what turned out to be the HOTTEST day of the year (at that point - 2022 was heatwave central!), Becky and Reiss chose the vibrant Chester Racecourse for their outdoor wedding ceremony. Armed with handheld fans and endless bottles of water, we all navigated the heat to witness a perfect ceremony, sunstroke-free!

Becky’s choice of a kimono-style wedding dress was nothing short of breathtaking. The morning’s atmosphere was infused with calm, highlighted by Becky herself driving us to the ceremony in a cool, collected manner. Here’s a quirky twist to their day: en route to the racecourse, Reiss had a humorous encounter with a lamppost, leading to a last-minute clean-up just before the ceremony. Following their intimate vows and a refreshing round of drinks, the newlyweds and I jumped in a taxi to Chester’s Roman Gardens. This spot ranks high on my list of favourites and is somewhere you’ll often find me wandering through when I’m in town! It was the perfect backdrop for stunning portraits and a special moment allowing Becky and Reiss some time to themselves.

The celebration continued at the Opera Grill restaurant, where a fantastic live band and a Marvel-themed photo booth awaited. The evening buzzed with energy, making it an unforgettable experience.
